The reviews seem to be pretty polarized on this place, but add us to the group who likes it. There just aren't a lot of options in the Carmel area. Yes, this place takes a 10 minute drive from highway 1, and the approach road and bridge can scare the daylights out of you if you're driving a 40' coach, but it's nice and quiet. Sites are very nice but only a few will handle big rigs and only a few have satellite reception due to trees blocking most of the others. Owners let their dogs run loose, and they do poop all over. There are full hook ups and cable and nicely manicured grounds. Pricey, but you're in Carmel. About one third of the park appears to be long term residents, but there were no issues with this, and everyone was friendly. We'll stay here again.

We've stayed here twice as a stopover. It's very functional, and the people are friendly. The noise from highway 101 isn't too bad, but it seems to be a naturally windy place. We'll stay here again as a stopover.
